Hi All!
 

New to the site, my husband actually found it! I am a 35 year old mother of 2 girls. I was heavy as a child, got thinner while in high school. Got heavy while pregnant with my first child, lost 50 to learn I was preggo with the second and have been slowly getting heavier since. I will have lap band on October 30th. Ready for it to be here. I am presently on all liquids for the liver reduction part of my plan (hate it) but it's all necessary to reach my goal!

Hope to get lots of advise and hopefully support from the folks here at the site. Other than my husband, I am not getting a whole lot of support from family and friends. They think I am "to young" or "not heavy enough". :?:

My ultimate goal is to lose 80 pounds. So we shall see! Thanks!

Hi! I am new here too. I am also looking for some support, and like you my family is like oh you're not fat.... um hello! I am 289 lbs, I think that is in the fat category. Anyway I would really like to become part of your support team, I need someone to chat with that will hold me accountable for my actions ;) But welcome here, and I wish you all the luck and I believe you can do this!
