Brand new to 3FC

I have been a lurker here for awhile but decided what have I got to lose? I think this will help me stay accountable and stay motivated when those dreaded bumps in the road arise.
I am 39yo and 177 pounds. I was never overweight, but after a divorce and several other bumps in the road I found myself 40 pounds overweight! I have recently lost 8 pounds, but have 32+ more to go to get to my "normal" weight of my early 30's. 18 months ago I got down to 160 and then promptly regained it all and then some. I'm determined to take it off and keep it off this time. I am following the Fat Flush diet as I LOVE Ann Louise Gittleman's work and this plan has worked for me in the past. I know I have all of the tools necessary to make the change and do the work, I just need to make it a HABIT and keep on keepin' on! :)
Turning 40 next summer and my goal is to be in the best shape of my life. Definitely looking forward to hitting my goal weight and LOVING my new body and lifestlye in 2013!

Yes, welcome! I'm new here too, although I've lurked from time to time. Posting definitely helps with accountability. I'm working on developing new habits as well. It's a struggle, but I'm hoping in the end being healthy will come naturally.

I totally agree with you atmos. My biggest problem is finding time to exercise and putting down the red wine! It has been my habit at night to relax with a glass of red wine for many, many years! This is proving a hard habit to break. But since starting to eat tons of veggies and taking vitamins for the last 6 weeks my skin, hair and nails look amazing! Baby steps to good health I guess. :) Good luck atmos!
