Hello gorgeous people!!!
Hey guys,
I'm new and totally excited to make a change in my life and get back in shape!!! This website is so fantastic and encouraging, I just can't wait to get connected with all of you weight loss experts :) My name is Jordan and I'm 25 and live in the Bay Area, outside San Francisco. I weigh 177 and am 5'5 , which is pretty much my all time highest... I really would like to figure out how to get healthy, fit, and lose between 30-40 lbs and KEEP IT OFF!!! Recently I was very sick, and actually dropped about 27 lbs in less than 2 months( from 174 to like 145ish) just by being extremely nauseous and unable to eat ANYthing but popsicles. I couldn't keep anything down and I was miserable, but I reallllly liked the way I looked by the end of it. People I hardly knew were telling me how awesome I looked, I could fit into all of my old clothes that had been collecting dust in my closet, and I just felt better about the way I looked. Unfortunately I was not working out at all. It was super unhealthy and I was in and out of the hospital, but about a month and a half to two months ago I finally beat the bug... Of course my appetite returned, and I felt since I was so much lighter I could slack off with my healthy eating. I began eating like crap-In n Out, pasta, snacking late at night... and here I am a month and a half later and completely back to square one. I know it was inevitable that I gain some of the weight back since I actually started eating again, but I am so bummed that it's all back. Sorry to go on and on, but I'm super frustrated. I start school in a month and I want to look good or better than I do now, and FEEL better. Do any of you guys have any suggestions for me? I cut out all soda and am trying to really lighten up on white carbs as well as cutting out fast food altogether. It's only been 3 days, but that's a start! I would appreciate any help or insight anyone would have for me. I'd love to have a weight loss buddy or anything as well. THANKS SO MUCH LOVIES! <3 Jordan |

The soda and cutting fast food is a good start. Just keep your eye on the prize and you'll make it.
The key is to find healthy alternatives to things you have always liked, and they are out there. |
