Starting again for the last time

Hello! I thought it was time to come out of lurker mode. Two weeks ago I found this group when I decided it was time to quit pitying myself and do something about my weight. At various times I've lost 20, 40 and even 120 lbs, but I never fixed my head and gained it all back. This time I realize I have to change more than my outward appearance; otherwise, I'll be pecking out a similar post on my phone in a few years. No more excuses . . . here I go!:o

Welcome! I've said the very same thing... starting again for the last time-- and this time is the VERY last time. You obviously know how to lose weight; work on your thinking this time around and you'll do fine. This board is a great place to get feedback! Best of luck to you!

Welcome Tande! I'm working on getting my head straight this time also, that is so important.

Hi Tande, I'm new here, too.

I'm exactly where you are - ready to start for the LAST time. We can both do this for ourselves (we've proven that in the past), and we're the only ones who can.

Let's go!

Getting your head straight is the biggest step. Realize the problem and fix it!!

I finally got under 200 pounds, and I'm never going back. Eating right and working out everyday and loving it!!!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I love reading the many success stories of progress and goal completion on this website. I know that each person is responsible for their own success, but it makes me feel like I'm in the right place to receive (and give!) support and encouragement.

I have faith that we will not be seeing a "last, last time" post from you in the future, but another inspiring success story:). I, like you, recently joined because this community seems so supportive and non-judgmental. I wish you good luck and cannot wait to see your progress!
