Hello from pacific northwest
I am a 20 year success story who fell by the wayside and am back 'on the wagon'. After eating the wagon, the horses, the cargo, and using the spokes from the wheels as toothpicks.
Lost 92# and kept it off for 20 years. Then got sick and ate for comfort. Duh, why do we think it helps. Goes back to the childhood. Then dh got sick and I ate more. Dh died and I ate more. Gaaak. By this time I needed to lose 101# Arrggh. The things we do to ourselves. Anyhoo (that is not misspelled, that is how I talk). It is taking a long, long time, but I am now down 45+# and while I am taking the long scenic route, I will make it. I have done harder things in my long life. |
Hi from a fellow Pacific Northwesterner! I know what you mean about eating the wagon and everything that goes with it. The emotional eating piece is a tough one.
