Former lurker says hello.

Hi. I'm Control W, and I've lurked here for ages, but now I thought I'd show myself. I'm 33, male, and when I started all this I weighed about 231 lbs, which is more than some, but less than others. Over the past few months, I've lost a bit, and am now at about 195, but it's getting harder, and I thought it would be good to get and give some support.

Welcome ControlW - It's always nice to have another male around 3FC.

If you've been lurking then you know there's a huge variety of threads. If you look around, you're very likely to find a group that appeals.

Have you chosen your eating plan or your exercise plan yet?

Good luck.

 Hi!!

Welcome and good luck on your journey.
What are your stats? How tall are you, how much are you looking to lose, what is your plan?

Let me tell you for sure though, this is the right place to come for support :)

Hope you find all the answers you need!! :)

Hi everyone! It's good to be here. And I have to say I'm flattered to be welcomed by all of you.

As for my stats, I am 6'0", age 33, and blond/bald. As I said, I started out at 231 lb, and I am trying to work my way down to, well, I'm not sure. My original goal was 180 lb, but I think I might want to go down to 170 lb. My goal isn't so much the weight as much as it is to burn off my abdominal fat. In that sense, I started at 47 in, and I have worked my way down to 39 in.

My exercise plan is mostly to do whatever my yoga instructor says for 80 minutes three times a week, and also to walk as much as I can, especially uphill. Now that I've got some health, I like "up up up," as I tend to say to myself.

My diet is to not drink sugary beverages and to not eat fast food, except for the occasional treat, which happens less and less often. Past that, I'm hovering at around 2,000 calories a day, low fat, "medium" carb, "medium" protein.
