Hey guys :) I'm amber. I love reading other peoples stories on here so I thought I'd finally post mine.

When I was a kid I was too skinny. Who would of thought? lol I was soo skinny and tall that my parents couldnt find me clothes. They had to have everything hemmed. Too bad I dont have that problem now. Lets fast forward to sixth grade, thats when I started getting chunky and when i owned my last bikini, but it wasnt too bad. I remember when I went school clothes shopping in seventh grade. I couldnt wear any of the cute girls clothes. I was a size 12 in womens. Lets just say its all been uphill from there. In my junior year of high school I weighed 220 and was a 16/18. I never let my weight hold me back. I did everything in high school. Prom, football games, and I was on the cheer team. Plus, I had gym class so I was semi-active ;) lol Anyways, my family moved my senior year and I became stagnant. No sports, a little gym. Freshman 15 you say? Pshhh I gained the freshman 40. tsk tsk tsk So here I am 4 years later at 265.8, but I have been dieting the last week and I'm down to 257.4 so far. I'm excited to keep on losin with you guys :D

Hello Amber. :welcome: I can sure relate; when I was younger, I was a skinny minny too and very athletic. But that was a looooooooooooooong time and many years ago! But you are a lot younger so getting a great early start to get off the weight. Glad you joined us; there is a lot of support here. I look forward to getting to know you.
