Newbie Saying Hello

  • Hi there. I've been on the weight loss struggle for years but finally got to a healthier place a few years ago. I lost quite a bit of weight (see my before/after pic) and everything was going easy peasy but moving to a new city, a new job (with lots of travel), and a wonderful new relationship (9 months and counting), and buying a new home have caused me to become quite distracted and I've gained 15 pounds in the 1 year since moving. It's time to get in front of this but I need some additional motivation and support so I'm glad I found this place.

    Im new today as well. Trying to get back on track after knee replacement surgery. Ive put on 20 lbs this year due to all of the inactivity...ugh....trying to keep myself motivated too. Wow a bunch going on in your world as well, all good (except the weight gain) I guess both of us need a routine and short term weight loss goals
  • Welcome, Prim2012! I'm pretty new, but have been working on losing weight concertedly for the past two months. I know what you mean about getting distracted. I gained A LOT of stress weight (50lbs!) and now, I'm trying to get rid of it.
