Giving Medifast a Chance

Hello everyone. I am a lifelong adult dieter and have reached an all time high weight when school let out in June. I had to do something. I went through all the diets that I tried and failed on. I even went for a surgery consult with 140 lbs. to loose. A pat on my back for loosing 5 lbs on my own in a month but I want it gone yesterday. I am not a sweet tooth, but like large portions. I have tried almost every diet out there and if you have to do a liquid diet before and after lapband then it must work. Therefore Medifast is my last hope. I had a total knee replacement 2 years ago and that forum kept me going to full recovery. I have set realistic goals in a path to my ultimate goal of 160. I haven't been there in 20 years but at age 47, I would like to celebrate by 50th birthday at that weight. When I reach my goal, my surgery consult will be for a "mommy makeover". Thanks for having another chick on board!:carrot:

Hi suntantoes!

Medifast is definitely a little different than most other diets, but you should get some great results pretty quickly. It's really working for me! Take a look over at the Medifast section - we're a small group, but very supportive.

Good luck - you can do it!
