Back again (after a long time!)
 

Howdy folks. I'm Wendy, a nursing student who works full time (among other time devouring pursuits). I floated around this site for a little bit last year when I was dabbling with MRC (boy, did that make me sick) and now I'm back after having been on the South Beach plan for a while. (Much better for me!)

I want to lose weight so I don't have to buy larger scrubs! And so I don't feel so sluggish.

Ah, I can so totally relate. I don't want to have to buy new clothes, because I HAVE to. I want to buy new clothes because I WANT to, and because they're great looking on me!

Wendy, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out South Beach subforum

AGREED. I hate feeling like I NEED to go shopping every summer to find something I'm comfortable in. I wish it wasn't such a struggle!
