size 8 to 16 in 5 months!
 

Hi everyone,

Im a 27 year old, who up until 5 months ago was a size 10 for most of my life. I was diagnosed with rapid cycle bipolar 5 months ago and have had a rapid weight gain of 10kgs in the space of a couple of months due to the medication (seroquel & sodium valproate). :(

I am finding it very uncomfortable. I can't find clothes that fit me properly, i get chaff, and all the wrest. On top of that my kidneys are playing up and my liver and they think I'm getting diabetes now. :dizzy:

I just wanted to find some support out in the cyber world. Here stories of other LOVELY ladies success to motivate me, or just have someone to chat with about all of this. Maybe swap diet tips with people who also have medications induced weight gain.

I just wanted to send you a hug <3 When my hypothyroidism first became apparent when I was in high school I had a similar rapid weight gain and it's a horrible feeling.
I hope things get better for ya and most importantly, you feel better <3

Just wanted to say hi and let you know I can relate. I had a thyroid problem in my 20's that caused rapid weight gain... it sucks. I hope you get better soon!

That happen to me once I had gotten a car after highshcool and started riding the school bus. I used to walk every where then I got a job at walmart deli went from a size 9 to a 15 in about 4 months.
