I have no idea how it happened!
 

Hi I'm so happy I found this site! I literally have no one to talk to about trying to lose weight. My husband doesn't have a sweet tooth so no help there :D and my two closest friends are thin, one's a pastry chef :( and the other is a triathlete. I sadly am not! I am the heaviest I have ever been at 230(although I've already started and lost 4lbs :carrot:) Oh my gosh I have never actually said how much I weigh out loud before! I was one of those skinny b____es that could eat whatever I wanted until I had kids and it has been a downward spiral, well upwards I guess, since. I recently had spinal surgery and not being able to get around, or lift anything, or tie my shoes....(the list goes on) has contributed to the most recent 20 lbs for sure. I want to lose weight for many reasons, besides looking good in a swim suit, I'm afraid that I will become diabetic like my mother. After seeing all of the health problems she's had as a result terrifies me. I also want to lighten the load for my damaged spine. Well I'm glad I found you!

Hey :) I'm in pretty much the same position as you! Just starting my journey (again) and roughly the same weight (233.5) also like you my two best friends are slim (as are the rest) my mum sister and boyfriend have no weight issue! My best friend (one of skinny ones!) is getting married in december and (selfishly haha) has asked my to be bridesmade! It's one of those omg moments were you realise your weight is once again holding you back (I almost said no!!) so Like you I need support and am so glad to have found this site! If you ever need a chat or support, I'm more than happy to provide! X
