There's tons of great support forums to snoop around in, I'd suggest jumping right in and starting to post in any forums that catch your interest - that's the best way to meet people and become part of the community.
We have specialized support forums for different age groups, amounts of weight that the members desire to lose (100 lb club, featherweights), faiths and race and lots more.
We also have subsections for diet and exercise and each forum has a little bit of information about the plan that they're supporting. For example, I belong to the calorie counting subsection because that's the plan I chose for myself. I'd suggest going and finding people interested in the 30 day shred (I'm sure there's a thread for it) and introducing yourself.
