Greetings everyone!
My name is Matthew, and I'm not entirely sure if this forum is uni-sex but I figured I would post and say, "Hi! :)" Regardless :P

I'm pretty much in the same boat as most. In the way that, I'm overweight and looking to improve my health. I'm 25 years old and about 290 pounds! :(

Anyhow, great to meet you all! I look forward to learning much and getting to a point where I am happy with my health, life, and future!

Welcome Matthew! You're in the right place, there are plenty of guys that post on these forums. I think there is even a forum specific to men - no girls allowed! lol, but you're welcome to post everywhere.

Have you decided what your food plan will be? (calorie counting, weight watchers, south beach, atkins, etc.?) There are forums specific to each of those, forums for different age groups, exercise, and other interests. Look around, see what feels like home and share. This is a fabulous place for support, encouragement, and sometimes the kick in the pants you need to keep going.
