Same Chick, New Try

So maybe attempt # 465 will be successful! I have failed so many times before losing weight. This time, hopefully it will be different. Quick background, I am 24 (ok I'll be 25 in a few weeks but that's a whole other box), 5'6" and about 190lbs. I am a competitive horseback rider (show jumper) and a student. I'll work out really really hard for about a week and then get lazy and stop all at once and go back to the couch.

About a month ago I tried to get into a really strict program that was going well until I got a pretty bad respiratory virus followed by a middle ear infection and a rejection from a school I was hoping to go to. All of this took led to me taking some (ok a lot of) time off. Now I'm back (yay) to the gym, going to go back to dieting tomorrow (yes i know everyone says tomorrow but...really tomorrow?) Which gives me another couple of hours to down the ice cream in the freezer.

I plan on maintaining updates here. Food journals, work out progress (including continuation of couchto5k and a pretty rigorous lifting routine), and body measurements...hopefully enough to guilt myself to not cheat. I'm looking for a way to keep myself on track and not let that slump knock me down. I'd love to find a diet/workout buddy so if anyone is interested shoot me a message and we can motivate each other!

Good luck to all!!

TLDR - Fat girl with blind optimism that it will be different this time :woops:
