Default Hello from over here in Oregon!

I joined the boards a few days ago and have been lurking around. It seems like a good group here, so I wanted to say hey.

I'm currently at about 186 pounds and want to get to 140. I haven't lost the baby weight and my daughter is already 19 months old. I was starting to get discouraged and depressed so I agreed to loosely start Weight Watchers with the guidance of a friend of mine who is experienced with the program. I've been researching food and recipes and learning how to do WW online with out joining. When I started tracking with my friend, I weighed 192, so it seems that I have already made some progress and that makes me feel good. I'm considering joining in the future, but I want to see if I have the self-control to keep it up before I throw out 40 bucks a months. We really have to watch our money right now, so this would not be a good time for me to join.

I'm a stay at home mom so no more running up and down the aisles in the large, red, big box store I worked at for so many years.

I hope to find some friends here (other Oregonians would be awesome!) and get some self-discipline to be more active and not sit on the couch and pig out all day. I'd love to get to know you all better, so if there's anything you want to know about me, just ask!

I just moved to Idaho from Eugene, Oregon! I wish I had all of those beautiful hiking trails to exercise on. The Idaho landscape doesn't exactly make you want to go outside and walk...

Depends where you're at in Idaho as I've found some nice trails. Depends where you're at, though but it does seem Oregon has a lot of nice hiking spots. (My bf grew up in Oregon).

I don't have any experience with trying to lose baby weight, but I wish you the best!

I just moved from Eugene too! Go Ducks!

Now we live in Hood River. The gorge is beautiful and there are lots of trails to hike here, so we have big plans this summer!

I hope things go well for you in Idaho; I've never been, but I can't imagine it's as pretty as Oregon.

Samcakes are you down near Boise or more up north? You don't have to disclose if you don't want to.. just curious if I could suggest some places to see.
