Hello Everybody
Hello all!
My name is Pippa, I'm 25 and have been happily married for 1 and a half years :) I've always been rather large and it has never really bothered me, until Igot diagnosed with PCOS and was informed that weight loss will help me with symptoms and my ultimate goal is to replace all my chunk with a bump! I'm doing slimming world and combining that with a very low carb diet! I started at 369 pounds currently weigh 307 pounds my goal is 182 pounds but it may get lowered when I near or reach it! Any suggestions or ideas to help aid my journey would be fantastic :D |
Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your 52lb loss. That is a great start!
My advice is to drink lots of water. Stay committed to a plan that works for you. Even if you have a bad day, bad meal or bad week, do not give up! Lastly, add some exercise into your weekly routine. There are a lot of things you can do without joining a gym. Walking, DVD's, Hulu.com, Nextflix. Best of luck to you! |
Hello Pippa! I'm a newbie here, too. :) I don't have PCOS but one of my best friends does and she has spent the past year trying to lose weight with the ultimate goal of getting pregnant. She's lost quite a bit (not sure exactly how much) and has said that walking helped her more than anything else. There have been a lot of ups and downs for her and it definitely hasn't been easy but she was determined and she looks great! Best of all, she DID get pregnant and is due late this summer! It's awesome and she is definitely an inspiration to me! :) Keep us updated...I'd love to cheer you along!
