Almost Forty & Time for a Come Back!
 

Hi Everyone - Next year I turn forty and I don't want to do it in my current state. I am at my all time highest weight -- infact, when I look in the mirror I'm both horrified and surprised to see myself. How did I get to this point? I am not sure, but I know that I want to begin the journey back to a healthy and happy self. I am glad to be here and hope to find and give lots of good advice and motivation!

Welcome to the forum! I am a little past 40 and am finally finding and caring about myself at 40. It has not always been easy but this forum has been so supportive. Be sure to check in here often.

Thanks Tonyia and NEMom! It has taken me this long to realize just how important to find the time to take care of yourself, but I'm glad that I am seeing it now...and not in another 10 years!
