hello from Japan
 

Hello!
I currently live in Japan and have gained a lot of weight. I try working out with a friend here, but sometimes he’s not reliable when going to the gym (lots of backing out). I go by myself, but it would be nice to meet people and have support. I’m having a hard time in Japan with my diet. I’m not fond of fish (I’ll eat it if it’s cooked and it doesn’t have its face looking at me). I guess it doesn’t help that I can’t really read the ingredients in packaged items and clothes don’t fit me here (nor can I get women’s shoes.)

I've recently started entering races in Japan. It's fun, but I am always last. But at least I finished (it seems like in Japan, only people who are serious enter these races).

Anyways, hello everyone!

Welcome to the forum. Don't think I could eat fish with the head on either, ick. I have a sister in law currently living in Japan and I know the food has been an adjustment for her too.
Keep going to the gym and enjoying those races. Best of luck to you!
