Introduction
Hi all! My name is Michelle. I came across this site and was amazed at the support that y'all give each other!! It's wonderful! I've struggled with my weight for most of my life, up and down up and down. I'm way up :( The past few days I've been working on my diet and next week I'm starting exercise (I have a broken toe so need a little more heal time). My biggest issue is not necessarily me eating a lot but eating all the wrong foods. I live in upstate NY and although the weather has been mild for winter, I'm not a cold weather person, so in the winter months I always gain. When I gain I get uncomfortable and I get depressed. I'm in a fairly new relationship and I don't want my 'gloominess' to cause a strain. I'm going to do the dreaded weigh in tonight which will upset me but I know that it'll get better :)

Michelle, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join.
