Newbie from NC ... Excited!!
Hi Everyone!
I am ready to join in on the discussions after lurking for a while!
I actually started my "get fit" journey after the New Year, January 3rd to be exact, and so far have lost almost 15lbs. I feel SSSOOOO much better already, it has been amazing.
My plan is watching/writing down my calories, and very light exercise (so far). I have been walking for an hour 2/3 times a week, and doing Kettleworx DVD's. I know in my heart I need to step that up both in frequency and intensity! Still working on getting to that point! LOL!
I work full time, and have two small children, ages 6 and 2. I think they were the most motivating factor in starting this lifestyle change (besides looking hot in a bathing suit, of course). I finally had enough of not feeling like playing with them as much as they wanted to play, or to have to stop and watch while they ran circles around me!
