New here and change is on the rise
 

Hello. my name is maddy. for starters I am almost 18 years old, and never in my life have I been a healthy weight. Im a super strong individual (if i wasn't middle school would have destroyed me) and I have altered my lifestyle just about two and a half weeks ago. so far I have lost 13lbs. I feel better already and Im reeeeally excited for summer. I get out so much more :D

Congratulations on making healthy changes :D Sounds like your mom is being supportive of your efforts which is fantastic to hear. It's good to be surrounded by those who understand and want to see us making better choices. :yes:

Maddy, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join.

Hey Maddy! Welcome! Like you, I've never really known what it feels like to be at a healthy weight. I just turned 19 in December, and we're at basically the same weight right now. I think we could really help each other! :hug:
