Hi newbie,
The hardest struggle is the beginning! Great goals you've set, just make sure they stay obtainable. Find time to take a walk with anyone of your family members and just talk about all the things you like about life. It really help rejuvenate your spirit and brings you closer to your loved one's. Plus it gets in a little extra exercise and keeps you away from the kitchen that much longer. And try to go to bed when the nights seem to bare down on you with cravings. sounds like a helper would be a great investment if you could afford it?

thank you angelsgirl some great tips there.. the evening is always the worst..and find myself wanting those treats late at night..have been going to bed a lot earlier and wakeing earlier to tho and find it so hard to eat breakfast..I am so used to just eating a really high calorie meal at night and snacking..so sticking to the three meals is the hardest for me.

Wink My program is weight watchers points plus

I'm doing weight watchers point plus and it has been wonderful for me . The fruits and veggies are allowed as much as you like, so at night I hit the fridge for fresh fruit with a non fat yogurt; Life saver right now. I am a super junk food eater and my hubby likes me chubby, so no motivation was a killer for me . Now I'm seeing my age creep up and my motivation to be healthy has grown with it! I'm weak so I'm doing Lean Cuisine and measured snacks all day and all week long. Once I am confident to count calories on my own I will transition to home cooking portions. I try to do this on weekends and eat pre-measured foods during the week. I'm down 12lbs in less than a month and now I'm looking for long term results. Maybe a days portion layed out will help you with not snacking what you shouldn't have in your calorie allowance for the day. How funny your current weight is my half way mark, so envious!
I joined this forum to find support as well, something I've never done before. Will be watching your progress!!
