New journey here!

  • Hi guys! My name is Lauren, I'll be 22 in March, and the reason I started my journey was because my university decided to start a "Biggest Loser" program, so I decided to participate. So far my journey has been alright, the first week was kind of stressful because when I did my first weigh-in, the scale was about 7lbs off, so I actually weighed that much more than I thought I did. But since my second weigh-in on Monday, where I weighed 239, I now weigh 234 as of Thursday morning. Woo-hoo! I'm ready for the rest of this weight to come off. What motivated you guys to get started? And also, how do you add signatures to your posts?

I forgot to mention, my goal weight for right now is 200lbs. I figured I'd start with a smaller goal at first and then move on from there. I've been obese all of my life -- ever since I was about 5 or 6 years old, and the last time I weighed less than 200lbs I was 10, and I weighed about 190 then. I have no idea what "skinny" me looks like, so little steps are a nice start, I think.
  • Congrats on getting started!! Small goals are great. I also joined a biggest loser like thing at my gym, I had already lost 7 pounds lost and was super motivated. I guess what finally motivated me, was just tired of being fat, something totally clicked and I was ready and determined
you can't get a sig til you've been here for 20 days and have at least 20 posts.. Again, congratulations on starting your healthy lifestyle and weight loss journey. Welcome!!
