Trying the Pink Method

[SIZE="3"][:carrot:/SIZE]
I just wanted to share my experience using the Pink Method. First, I haven't worked out or dieted for about 4 months, life just got in the way for awhile.
Anyways, for Christmas my husband got me the PINK Method, which I too saw on The Doctors.
I read through everything and we started this (my husband did too, even though they say it is for women). I could tell by the limited amount of food to eat the first week or two, it was limited calories. So, we added more for my husband to make sure he was taking in enough. The smoothie for breakfast was very good, and then it is pretty much veggies, veggies, veggies and very limited grains. It reminded me of the ole "fat blaster" way of some diets years ago. While you are on this part of the plan, you do not excercise, I was ok with that!
So, we made it a week on that first part. We both did lose 4 1/2 pounds and felt really good. I started the workout portion and kind of slipped a bit on their food part. We are vegetarian/vegan and have pretty healthy meals, so we figured we could stick with that much better.
But, on to the workouts. I did the Phase 1 Kardio, and did not enjoy it. I feel if this plan is made to encourage someone to get up and move, then it should be a bit more basic. I feel the instructor 'Jenna' talked way to fast and did not explain some of the moves. I've done a ton of aerobics during my life and this was the most confusing workout I've ever done. So, the next one I thought I would try was the yoga, with Basheerah. That one I loved. Very informative and even though hard, she explained every move and had an alternative for beginners.
I'm still going to try the other workouts, but so far I'm enjoying it. There are many good recipes in the manual, and I think it is worth the money. But, as with any plan, it takes dedication and hard work. These pounds aren't going to fall off by themselves.
It's something different, yet the same and I like that.
So, onward I go!!!
