Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here looking for friends to support in our battles with weight. I'm from the uk, into rock/metal music, cooking (and eating - not great for weight loss!), singing and the Internet.

I lost 2stone last year after having my son but can't seem to shift anymore so need to kick start my weight loss again as I have another 3-4stone to lose (ideally). I'm not looking for a quick fix as I want to keep the weight off but interested in others' experiences and tips.

Hoping to make some good friends so weight loss doesn't feel so daunting and lonely. So gimme a shout :-)

Welcome. What kind of rock/metal do you like? I also see that you are living in the coolest city in the world :P

Violet Rose, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the UK Chicks.
