Re-introducing myself after a way too long hiatus

  • Hey everyone! It's been a very long time since I've been on the forum. Probably been over a year...lots has been happening since I was last on. Sadly I have gained ALL of my weight back (plus some )...and I know that I have no one to blame but myself. I am hoping to lose about 150 pounds. I know that for myself, my first goal will be to start writing down EVERYTHING that I eat and drink. This helped me quite a lot when I was aiming for a healthier lifestyle before.

    I have decided to come back for several reasons.
    1) I can feel how hard my heart is working even when I'm trying to sleep.
    2) My blood pressure is high...this needs to change.
    3) This cannot be confirmed without a visit to my doctor...but my bf is concerned that I may have diabetes, and I am also very concerned about this. (He was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 7).

    Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Since it is almost 1 in the morning...my road to healthier living starts when I wake up. Of course, I know that I can't start doing to much to fast, but that doesn't mean I can't make small changes. Good luck everyone. We can all do this.

We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Check out the new Restarters support group!
