Hey Ya'll!!
 

So... My name is Valerie and I am a 24 year old busy mom of 3. I am currently going to school for my RN, and I work as a waitress for now. I have a 3 year old boy of my own, and 2 step children, ages 6 and 7, who keep me insane at times. Back in November as I was looking through vacation pictures I realized how much weight I had gained. I was at 205! I've always been pretty tiny, but with the pregnancy of my son I gained about 80 lbs. I started dieting and I have made it down to 180. Over the holidays I lost a lot of motivation and I am trying to get it back!
I need to do this, not only for myself but for my family. I feel so lazy! Also through the forum, I am hoping to find some tricks to tightening skin and burning fat in certain areas. I am hoping to meet a lot of lovely ladies in order to help motivate me through this craziness! I am going to California in April and I would love to have to purchase a new wardrobe for the occasion.

Valerie, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 20-somethings.
