RE-introduction....
I posted here a few months back when I was well on my way to achieving my weight-loss goals, but I fell off and had a lot of set backs and I've since gained a lot of weight back. I joined a gym about a week ago and have been doing 30-60 minute cardio workouts about 3-4 times a week. I've attempted to cut back on my calories to the best of my ability and i'm even seeing a renowned weight loss doctor in my area that prescribes pills and B-12 shots weekly and a strict diet. I will admit I am not following the diet 100% because where I live makes it hard to do so -- I can only decline dinner from my boyfriend's parents so many times before they start to get angry at me (I take tiny portions though!). Any tips or advice is SO welcome. I love the elliptical and I find that short burst-like interval workouts are my favorite. What has worked for others?
A little more about me -- I'm 24, 158 lbs, petite bone structure, and I have the capacity to weigh 115 lbs and look great! While that may be around-a-bout my goal, I am happy simply to become healthier and have cut soda completely from my diet, which is a huge feat for me! Its great to be back and I plan on actually following through with this site this time as everyone seems to be great and so supportive! Great to be here with you all! --AmandaLynn |
