I just started two weeks ago (WW again) and I hope joining the forum will help me stay on track. I lost over 40 pounds 9 years ago but then stopped. Not sure why. I gained a bit back but not all.
Now I am ready to lose more.

I am looking forward to meet some people here to chat and exchange experiences.

Joesy, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join such as in the WW area; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.

We have a wonderful Weight Watchers forum here...please check it out! There are also groups by age range, and a lot of small, miscellaneous challenges, so look around. Then just find a spot or LOTS of spots and jump in.

Wow, this was my first post on 3FC almost a year ago.

I was just digging out this thread because I wanted to tell all the newbies:

IT CAN BE DONE!

When I started here in January I knew I can lose weight (done it before) but I never really believed I can be at a normal BMI. I was always big and don't know anything else.

I just reached my goal today (see: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/goal...ml#post4134356) and I can tell you now that you can do it!

It takes time and dedication but it is so worth it!!! I feel amazing and people are just stunned how much I changed. I enjoy working out now and want to try different sports. I never thought that is possible but sports is fun!! You can lose weight without working out but believe me it makes it much easier. And it tones your body. I still have work to do (another 10 lbs? gaining muscles and get in shape) but what a different life I live. I learned so much this year!

I also wanted to thank the 3FC community because I am not sure if I would have made it without you! It definitely wouldn't have been that much fun without 3FC.

I am going to stick around for sure. I met many great people here and I also want to give back.
