I would like to loose about 30 - 40 pounds. I'd love to make some friends and support buddies along the way! Today my dh went to health food store and purchased Chia seeds. I will be using these along with making alot of other changes to my diet. I am determined lose weight and gain energy and health!

Chickster, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!

Hi!! I'm still semi-new as well and I'm finding that there are so many good threads and groups out there! Being around people with like minded goals, problems, hobbies...it really helps make this journey that much easier. Good luck to you!!

I am new also, I find the more people that know your trying to lose weight the more I try and work hard.. lol I know i'm supposed to do this for me but I also want to prove to other people i'm not just talk. Welcome!
