Not exactly a fat chick
 

I'm more of a fat man but I hope you all wont hold that against me. I am 30 years old and way 341 lbs. I come to you all because I am going to need help. I have a dream I need to serve my country and in order to do that I will have to lose around 120 pounds or 14-15% of my body fat.

I find myself here because I believe If I join a community like this one it will help me stick with my goals and not give up. I am going to need a support structure and this seams like a good place. :^:

Welcome to the forum! What an admirable dream you have. Your goal is very attainable, many people have lost that and more on this site.
If you want some inspiration, I recommend reading the blog Ben Does Life. He is a young man, probably very close to your age who lost 120 or so lbs. He is really into running now but I am sure that you will find inspiration from his blog. You can find him on FB too.
