So glad to be here!

Hi, all!! I just recently "celebrated" my 37th birthday, and came to the realization that this weight isn't going to fall off on its own. I also realized that I have now spent over half of my life feeling uncomfortable about my body:dizzy:!!

I am going on a big family Disney/cruise vacation next October. I don't want to get on that ship feeling like I should be swimming with the whales.......

I am married, 2nd marriage, I have 3 small kids, I work as a nurse manager every weekend for 16 hour shifts, so I am missing my family right now. Hubby works full time during the week, evening shift, and then I work every weekend, so I get lonely a lot!

I have finally been able to really pinpoint that I am an emotional eater. Now that I have grasped that concept, I have been able to cut back some. Unfortunately, my body is not responding to those small changes. I have been reading up on eating a clean diet, and I have been working out more than I used to, although, not enough.

I guess I am just looking for support/word of wisdom from ladies who have walked, or are walking, in my shoes. Can't wait to talk with all of you:carrot:
