What's happened?

I just noticed the low replies to the intro postings. Lots of views and very low replies. What's happened?

I'm ashamed of how I let myself go as well. I may not be up over 200, but I am only 5'2" tall and when I was at the doctor's office last week, I got on their scale. I was fully clothe and had eaten but that scale went up over 170 and I felt awful. I should be about 140.
I've done Weight Watchers and failed more than once. I'm not into programs like Jenny Craig where you buy their food as that is far too regimented for me. I want to lose weight and I'm tired of playing games.
I decided after my OB/GYN appointment last week that something has to be done. The weight is creeping up a bit at a time and as I am aging, I keep thinking that I want to stay here on this earth and be healthy. What is it going to take for me?
Exercise. Oh boy, so boring. I have been on my treadmill 3 times this past week and done a body toning workout twice. Not bad for lazy me. But, I think I need to move and tone and I'll feel better. I need to watch alcoholic beveridges that contain hidden calories, just stick with wine or beer and not mixed drinks. I usually do not have more than 4 a week at least.
I'm limiting desserts to pre-packaged puddings that are low fat and around 100 calories and trying to improve the quality of what I am eating.
It would help to have a few friends who will jump in and help with suggestions.

Hello! I was on here awhile back, and stopped.... Overall the support really helped me stay focused and in the right state of mind for weight loss. I have now gained about 15 pounds and feel sluggish and really tired all the time. I generally have a busy lifestyle, and find it difficult to fully committ. I tend to keep making excuses. I am tired of making excuses! This is my life, my body and I want to take full charge, in getting my body back into shape. I feel that I can do this ... I just need a little support! I would love to join the group if you don't mind. I seen some of the prior posts, and it looks like some of you may have just started up again as well. I wish all of you the best of luck in your journey ahead, and together we could fully support one another!! Good Luck to everyone!! :)
