What a great website and group of ladies!

I am just completely floored with this forum! I wish I had known about this site years ago, I think its wonderful!

I am a 23 year old chick with some pretty intense PCOS. I've been struggling with my weight since I was 13. A few years ago I lost my father and sister to major health issues that had everything to do with their weight and lifestyle choices so dealing with that made me want to change my life. Over the past year I have started going to the gym and changed the way I eat.

So far, I have lost about 60lbs and feel pretty good. Now I feel as if I've hit my plateau so I was looking for tips and stumbled upon this website. I cannot express how happy and excited I am to have found this site, and you ladies who have dealt with/deal with the same issues as I do. It makes me feel as if I'm not alone in this battle. Can't wait to see more success stories and goals attained! Finally, the little ounce of hope and support I have so desperately searched for :-)

Hello Kaylove,
I am sorry to hear about your father and sister. I myself have been struggling with PCOS as well. I have been put on different medications from the doctors to help with some of the symptoms. I felt they were doing more damage than good. So now I am trying to lose the weight myself without any medication in hopes of slowing some of the symptoms and feeling good over all.
