Semi-new
Hey everyone!
I've posted on a few times but I mostly just read posts when I'm at work. That being said, I really want to step my weight loss up! I'm looking for new friends and support. :) I have a lot of troubles with binging and it'd be nice to talk with some of you about that! I am looking to lose about 80lbs and just restarted my journey. I kinda kickstarted my new lifestyle by running a 5k race today. I haven't done one for a few years and I did horrible, but my overall goal was to complete it! What do some of you do to keep motivation? |
Hello. I've tried more than a few times to lose weight, and recently re-started my weight loss plans as well. We're all here to support each other so I'm sure you'll find plenty of people to talk to :) I tend to overeat as well, because I'm always hungry. I try to keep motivated by telling myself that a few minutes of eating unhealthy foods isn't worth a lifetime of poor health. Try to look at your goals in small increments, since a large number can be overwhelming at times. Also, try to get rid of any junk food in your house, I unfortunately can't do this because of my mother :/ But anyways, I don't know a whole lot about fitness and dieting, but I definitely know about needing motivation! I have a list of my fitness goals that I read and they help me out :) Best of luck to you!
