Long Term Dukan Dieter Looking for Support?
Hiya, everyone, I'm Twinny! I'm about to take a stab at this introduction thing for the first time, so please do bear with me if I ramble >.<
Oi... where to start? I suppose with my purpose in being a member of this site?
See, I've been eyeballing it for quite some time and stalking the forums wondering if I should join or not and I guess I finally cracked. Everyone seems really nice and open about discussing things and I guess I just wanted to be a part of that.
I'll start with the standard statistics:
I'm 20 years old.
I'm a student/teacher.
I live in England.
I'm currently 245lbs and 5'9.
I would like to be around 175.
I can't remember a time when I was below 200lbs.
So, I've started the Dukan Diet and I went from 267lbs to 245 really quickly (as in the first three weeks) but now I'm stagnating. Some friends in a similar boat would be lovely as I feel a bit alone in the world when it comes to my dieting.
My biggest issue is probably that I've been on this diet for quite some time now but my finish date is 24/09/13. That's a really, really long time to only eat meat and only have veggies every other day. Is there anyone out there in the same situation as me? I.e. on a really, super long term diet with a heavily limited dietary menu and kind of struggling with it?
I genuinely feel so alone in this and it's making it harder to stick to what I should so any contact with any other dieter is really welcome at this point <3
