Hi everyone! I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 28, and live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I've struggled with my weight for years, and would like to win this battle, once and for all. I managed to get down to around 200 pounds several years ago, but slowly and surely gained it all back and more. I hit my lowest point (and highest weight) about 2 years ago, and realized that something had to change. I went from 295 pounds down to 252 in about 6 months, and went from severely depressed to realizing that I have so much to be happy about. That weight loss allowed me to get pregnant, and I gave birth to my little boy in June. And now it's time to continue in my weight loss journey, not only for myself, but for him as well. He deserves a healthy, active mom.

I've always been great at supporting other people in their endeavors, but tend to lack confidence in myself to make my own goals come true. I'm not usually one to reach out like this, but I think I'd benefit from the support of other people who I can relate to.

I'm glad you've decided to join this board for support and motivation. You'll get plenty of that here. And congratulations on your new little boy. Good for you for wanting to get healthy for him. I wish you the best.

Secondly, I'm in the same boat about with a few of these things..starting with battling my weight and making it what I want it to be. I have a long journey ahead of me but I'm looking forward to the outcome, living a healthier, having a way more active lifestyle, and just being..happy and comfortable with my myself.
