Here at last.. hope to last until i achieve my goal
 

I'm 34 and mother to a 14 month boy. I've tried a lot many times to shed and failed miserably... Though previously my aim was to look slim to the world, this time it is different. I want to set a good example to my kid and be a healthy mom to play around with my son.

I would need a lot of encouragement and advice to achieve my goal. I'm glad to have found this forum which provides these. Wish me luck :)

Welcome! :) I am also a mama (of a 2 year old son and an 8 month old daughter) and I totally understand the drive to become healthy and set a good example for them... That definitely pushes me to keep going. I want them to grow up in a family where healthy, balanced eating and physical acticity is the norm.

Welcome! I'm a mom too, and one of the most rewarding things about this journey to better health has been my children seeing and internalizing it--exercise and eating well is just how we do things. :)
