The Kick OFF!

  • It's time to challenge myself. I have been putting this off for way too long. I already determined what I want done to myself and what my goal should be. This challenge is not about starting off with a bang, it's just about starting. Before I could do any of that dieting thing I think I should face my demon and actaully buy myself a SCALE! I do not like seeing my numbers and I'm not sure if I ever want to, but I MUST!!!

Time to make the scale a friend and time to kick off my shoes and get on it. I know I won't like what I see and I probably won't like it for a while. Hopefully all that bad will push me to LOOSE and see the GOOD

Wish me luck! Here we go!
  • Welcome and Good luck!
  • Welcome to the forum! Please remember, whatever you see, the number on the scale does not define what type a person you are! Best of luck on your weight loss journey!
  • If you are shocked by the number, it won't last that long. The anticipation of getting on the scale is much worse than actually doing it.

I recently got on my parents scale after about a year - my heart pumping hard and I could feel myself become flushed as I looked down at the number.

I was 8 lbs more than I estimated I was. It wasn't as bad as how I'd pictured it. I moved on quickly and stepped up my calorie counting game.

    Don't worry!
