Wide Load....

Hi folks,

I am really excited about this group, I just came across it googling how many pant sizes you should be down when you're down 30 pounds. Anyway, glad I found it. I am 28 years old & have about 100 pounds to lose, argh! I'm concentrating on the first 50 to make it more bearable. I am currently down 30 pounds since June 1st. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know all of you more. :)

Congratulations on your 30lb lost! Like others said the pant size varies a lot. It depends where you lose your weight and also what your starting weight and height is. Also, I've had some times when I've dropped sizes quickly and other times when I've dropped weight but no sizes (typically the weight was coming off of my extremities then).

:welcome: I must say that I really enjoyed your title!! LOL!! :D
I am like you in that I like to chunk up my weightloss goals. When I focus on the ultimate, longterm goal I seem to lose focus. But, I break it up into mini-goals and do much better!
I look forward to seeing some progress pics! :D

If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose the last 30 lbs? How did you stay motivated?

Like you, I found this site today while googling. :) Good luck I hope we can both get great benefits from this site!

Welcome! Oh gosh don't get me started on women's clothing sizes!!!! I don't trust half the stores out there cause they impose vanity sizing....but I'm down 30lbs too and still wearing my size 16's from old navy (which really are a size 18) but they are starting to get a tad loose now, so I'm thinking I'm down to a size 16 which would be a size 14 at old navy. Congrats on your weight loss so far that's awesome!!! :cheer:
