New here..Ready for a permanent lifestyle change
 

Hello my name is Monique :)

A couple years ago I went from a size 20 down to a size 8! I didn't weigh myself at all. I wanted to let my Jean sizes do the talking. Well since then Ive put back on weight and went from that glorious size 8 up to a size 14! I decided to buy a scale to see just how much damage I've done..well when I saw the scale read 194 lbs tears poured down my cheeks! .I knew it was time to make a change so on June 6th I told myself lets do it again lets lose the weight! My goal is10 lbs a month and I've lost 18 lbs today 8-4-11.
2 lbs short of my goal but I will make it up next month for sure! My mini goal is to lose 30lbs by Sept 4th...my ultimate goal is to not be considered overweight so I need to be 137lbs..I haven't been that weight in God knows how long. I can't wait to meet my goals!

I have pretty similar goals. It's a long process, isn't it? I have been struggling lately to stay on the wagon.

Hey! Welcome to 3FC, and congrats on your weight loss!

New today to this site: super similar goals here- currently at 183 and hoping to get close to the 140 mark. Been carrying around this extra "crap" for around 15 yrs~ not sure what happened to the slim lady I used to be before having children?! I've tried it all: WW, Nutrisystem, ear stapling (i know, ridiculous), Atkins, etc- you name it...finally realized I just simply need a life change. Hoping maybe some online pals will do the trick! :)
