o hai!

So, I'm joining in. I need to do something, anything differently.

I have been feeling terrible lately. Depressed, tired, and fat. I'm turning 30 in December. I can't turn 30 weighing this much. I know that it's not insurmountable, but it's so hard to change my eating habits. I crossed from the overweight BMI to the Obese BMI last year, and have been a steady 210-215 for the past year. I've started and stopped some things but nothing is really working out. I feel angry at myself, self-conscious, and fed up.

I'm hopelessly addicted to caffeine, binge eating sometimes, feeling slow and generally sad about things. I feel like i've got to change, and get on track to a healthy lifestyle

Anyway, I'm hoping to start a blog, and start keeping track of and processing my thoughts on food and feelings, and life in general. Thanks for listening.

Welcome to 3FC =)

We're glad to have you join us. We all struggle, and we all have to be patient with ourselves to find what works.

It's not always easy, but if you look around the boards you'll notice many members on a myriad of different plans and workout schedules who are making it work.

You can do this. You can make sustainable, healthy changes.

See you around the boards!

I know exactly how you feel. I turned 30 this past April and I was disappointed that I'd been heavy since highschool and with all the hype about "Once you're 30 its hard to get off" was starting to get to me. Don't even listen to that! You can do anything you put your mind to. I've been searching around on the net and theres people way past 30 droppin hundreds of pounds to stay healthy. You just have to have the right motivation wether its health purposes or you just want to look and feel better.

I just joined the site today as well, and its because I need positive support and this site has some wonderful people on it. I already got a bunch of welcomes and I just joined less than a few hours ago lol. Welcome to the site, good luck, stay motivated and don't give up!

We can do it!

You know, I was often feeling the same way when I was eating badly. I felt bloated and gross all the time. I felt constantly groggy and foggy. Everything seemed bleak. You'd be surprised how it can change your life to eat better! I wish you luck in finding the happiness you deserve. :)
