Back After 5 Months and Ready To Succeed
So I let school get in the way, and honestly, I took the easy way out. So now, in the midst of this crazy heat wave we're getting here on the east coast, I've decided to commit to myself, and make it a routine! This way when I start back up with school, I have no lame excuses!!
I am happy to report that I only ended up gaining 2 pounds during the time off, which trust me was time off. I have to learn that making healthy food choices does not mean "tomorrow" ... and that I have to prepare my meals ahead of time, even though I despise thinking of what I"m going to eat before I eat it. If I have the right tools/food on hand I'm fine and don't even notice! It's all those last minute, have no clue what to eat, I find myself at a drive thru (bad news). So here is to a new me ... yeah yeah, I've said it before, but the best thing I can do is brush myself off, own up to it, and get back on the horse! Funny thing is that I love to exercise and how it makes me feel!! |

I was so glad to see this... not the falling out of being mindfull part, but the realizing you did and starting it back over to do right thing :) That is wonderful!!!!! Posts like this remind us all that we are not alone in our struggles... not everyone can just say "I will do it" and succeed the next day... it takes time and we are not perfect; it's the perseverence we have within us and the drive that determines if we succeed...and it looks like yours is right on target!!!!!!

Glad you're getting back on the weight loss wagon. The number of pounds you're trying to lose is very attainable in a short period of time. Just get them off. :) Good luck.
