I have had great success in the past with The South Beach diet. I, in fact, lost 20 pounds last spring in a relatively short period of time following the diet and religiously doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred dvd. Unfortunately, I missed a porch step at my house last July and broke my right foot in 3 places. That meant sitting on my butt in my cast for a long time while I healed. I was bored and in pain, so I completely forgot about my diet and exercise was out of the question for months.
So, now, a year later...here I am. The 20 pounds that I lost last year are back plus 7 on top of that.
I'm healthy now and I'm restarting my journey to SHRED OFF THE EXTRA FLUFFY (my sweet word for fat! LOL)My plan is low carb, high protein; not necessarily following a specific plan, but using the basics of what I have learned from South Beach and Atkins. I momentarily tried the Dukan Diet last week and realized that is way too crazy strict to be doable.
So...here I am!! Looking for support and a friendly kick in a**!
