Introduce myself -How do you post- where do I click
 
My name is Scott. 57/262lbs/down from 340. Father of one grown child, Ph.D and former collegiate basketball player.

Question, when I go to a forum do I just click new thread or what?

Do you want to start a new thread or answer a post on an existing thread ?

To answer your post I clicked on quote (in the lower right corner of your post). That brought up this screen and I just started typing what you are reading now. Click submit reply and it will post in this thread. Evidently you know how to start a thread as you started this one. You only need to start a new thread if you are starting a new topic.
