Hello everyone. I'm really hoping this site will help me. I am 24 years old, married. I am 5'4 and weigh 215 pounds. I would like to get back down to 130. I find dieting very difficult. I have a problem with compulsive eating and bingeing. I also have had issues with my digestive system since I had my gallbladder removed in December. I hope I can meet some friends and maybe find someone who shares the same struggles with weight as I do. :D

Hi! Well, congrats for taking the first step. There are tons of people who fight with the same issues as you--try the Chicks in Controls, Dieting with obsticals, and the 20-something forums.

My hubby had his GB removed as well -- did your doc talk to you about slimming down? I got the lecture from my OB after the birth of our daughter. No more babies until I lose 50 pounds! Hang in there, though -- you've made a good choice today. Make another one tomorrow! :)

I want to second the recommendation for the "Chicks in Control" forum - lots of folks there who struggle with binge eating and other disordered food behaviors, and a ton of support! So do look there.

We also have forums by eating plan, age range, and etc...plus a ton of little clubs, groups, and challenges to explore.

So jump on in and get to posting! I can't wait to get to know you better!
