Aloha *wave*

  • Hi all, I decided to join the ranks of the posting people after lurking for a while .

    I'm 26 years old and have battled with my weight for most of my life. I'm 5'2" tall and I was 240 lbs at age 14 and then slimmed down over the course of 2 years to be 185 at graduation. I steadily lost more weight until I was 160 at my lowest, but stress and years of bad eating habits have taken their toll...

    I find myself attractive in general, but my turning point this time around was when the weather got hot again and I started to chafe... bad. So now I'm trying to drop back down to 175 as a first step and then see if I want to lose more.

    I'm also hoping to get fitter in the process and learn a bit about weight training, since so far I have mostly used aerobic exercise for weight loss.

  • That's funny, the chafing was something I took as a bit of sign too. I try not to look at my full body in the mirror, but chafing is hard deny as is the reasons behind it lol time to get real with myself!
