Lurker-need to lose about 40lbs.
Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking for at least 6 months, and finally joined last week. This forum is such a wonderful source of support for so many people. I love seeing the success stories. There are so many of you who have overcome so much, and worked to hard to reach your goals. The hard-earned success you have enjoyed is a true source of inspiration! I am an emotional eater, who is good all day, then I fall apart and binge at night. I also am not a consistent enough exerciser. With the help of all of you, I hope to fix those things and lose about 30-40 lbs. I look forward to hanging out and sharing with all of you :D Thanks for having me! Shelley |

Welcome bells! This place is so motivating. It's the longest I've stuck with anything to do with losing weight. I always sort of tried but not really. But, spending time here seeing everyone else so up beat and doing it, we can too and we WILL! I look forward to seeing you around, thanks so much for joining us!

I just lost 35 pounds since October so I know exactly what you are feeling right now. You can do though!!
Night time eating has always been hard for me. What I have done is: 1. Have healthy snacks available (100 calorie popcorn, skinny cow ice cream, etc) 2. Brush my teeth right after dinner. I am more likely not to eat if my teeth are brushed. 3. Chew gum. 4. drink water 5. go to bed. Sometimes when I feel major cravings happening I just go to bed and read. If I am not downstairs I am less likely to eat. Good luck lady! |
