Hi NGirl.
I started being active on this site a few weeks ago and it has helped. I have tried to lose weight 100s of times, but i think this one will be THE one. We have similar starting weights :). My advice is take it day by day and make small changes towards a healthy lifestyle. Whether its adding a couple minutes of walking a day, a few more reps of an exersice, or choosing a healthy snack! YOU CAN DO IT! good luck! |
My advice is to break up your long term goal into a series of mini goals. This makes it less overwhelming than constantly thinking about 100 pounds to lose. Start off losing 20 then maybe 10 followed by another 20 etc.
Also, reward yourself for making goals (not through food). For example, I lost 30 pounds so i purchased something for myself for $30 lol. Sounds a little cheesy but it works! |
